We took a lil jaunt to Canada this weekend. Oh, Ottawa. Hottawa.

So, I found myself at Empire Farm Days, the area’s largest ag trade show/fair, and it was friggen HUGE and AMAZING. So much crazy equipment! I wish I had more time to wander and explore, but alas, I was on popcorn duty at the Cornell HQ.

We recently found ourselves at a SOAP BOX DERBY! Yeah, random! These ladies were ridiculous. It was kinda awesome.

So a few weeks (month?) ago, we took a weekend trip to the Thousand Islands region of Upstate NY and visited Boldt Castle, a quaint castle on it own island. Most of it has been lovingly restored, but of course I much preferred the top floor, which was in a state of complete squalor, and the spooky basement. YES!

I loved how the texture played out when this printed. Yay film!

Oh, the highlight of the festival season around here, the Ithaca Festival parade, which showcases the best and worst of this crazy town.

How could I resist?
